Apple unveils new 12 Core Mac Pro (Rumor)

Rumor is coming that Apple's Mac Pro is going to be updated soon, having 12 processing Cores with Xeon processor and these processors make the Mac Pro to run more 50 percent faster than its previous generation. Here another exciting thing is that Mac Pro customer will have the option to order a 512 GB SSD for the first time.

There will be options in frequencies of 12 cores as; 2.66 GHz or 2.93 GHz. The rumor also suggests that the new Mac Pro will be installed with ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics hardware with the Radeon HD 5870 but that will be available as a build-to-order option. The new model will also have two mini Display ports and one Dual-link port, so you can connect up to two LED Displays without any additional hardware.

In lieu of this, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, Philip Schiller said, “The new Mac Pro is the most powerful and configurable Mac we’ve ever made. With up to 12 cores, the new Mac Pro outperforms our previous top-of-the-line system by up to 50 percent, and with over a billion possible configurations, our customers can create exactly the system they want”.

The 1x 2.8 GHz Quard-Core / 3GB RAM / 1 TB HD will cost $2499 and the 2x 2.4 GHz Quad-Core / 6 GB RAM / 1 TB HD model will cost $3499. Apple would start shipping new Mac Pros from the beginning of August.
